HOWTO: Manipulating front leds on Alix2

I think many have wondered how to do this, and after some poking around I finally found a way to do it.

With the newest imedialinux-releases (at least those containing kernel 2.6.18 and above) the GPIO-module is compiled as default, so it's pretty straight forward to do.

Hello!

I can`t find the module 8139too in imedia-wrap-5.0.2-128MB-image.img

I think, that the driver is built in a kernel, but:

wrap#ifconfig eth0

eth0: error fetching interface information: Device not found

Running Lost

We have hyperterminaled into the iMedia boxes and are trying to get them to use the OS loaded on the compact flash cards that we imaged the file onto - software was downloaded from this site. The commands that we were given with the instructions do not work. Are there other commands that we can use? We need help with this - our camera's were suppose to be installed several weeks ago but due to our problem we are unable to complete our job at this time.

Routing problem

I'm a newbie when it comes to linux. I am having a problem with routing.
To get broadband internet to my house in MO I installed M0n0wall (as an access point ) on a WARP board mounted on top of a 80ft silo connected to my WISP radio. Then on the roof of my house I have a WARP board running m0n0wall as the client 3.5 miles away. This link is using Ubiquiti Networks SR9 900 Mhz radios and was working fine for the most part.

Copying CF cards

Hello

I've got a CF card with my set up as I like it.

How can I easily make a copy of it to another card?

Using dd doesn't seem to quite work for some reason, even with identical CF cards (? same make and model)

Make PHP for iMedia Wrap

I noticed that in your iMedia Wrap, you don't include PHP. For a special project I am testing, I am using a WRAP1E and I require PHP with PEAR support.

How can I use my Windows machine to compile php on the board, as "make" is not available in your CF distro? If you can provide some links, instead of explicitly writing it out, it would greatly help instead.

How to configure NAT?

Hello,
I'd like to ask for an advice how to set up network address translation?
I know how to this via the -t nat option to iptables, however, in my distribution
of iMedia Linux Wrap the neccessary kernel modules seems to be missing.
