Small (8Mb-128Mb) Embedded Linux distribution for mini-ITX / x86 systems is ready for your office, internet and multimedia needs. Optimised for two targets: i586/Geode/Via C3 (old via epia boards), Pentium/Via Nehemiah. the distribution contains all hardware drivers (including framebuffer, Xwindows, audio, USB, network) for VIA mini-itx mainboards. Can easily be used as a settop box for playing audio/video files on VIA mini-itx mainboars.
The imedia linux come with iMedia Alix a "Lite" alternative
to the ImediaLinux distro that is specially customized with driver preinstalled
to work on AMD GEode LX and GEode GX based mini computer. This means the installation
and customization is much simpler for this version. Once you purchased the iMedialinux
you may download a free iso image of iMedia Alix or you may customize the current
distribution to use it on GEode LX and GEode GX based computer.
iMedia Linux distribution 6.0.0 is the latest embedded linux distribution
based on XFCE
as it's default desktop environment and many other
features. We are offering a free evaluation vmware image of our latest distribution.
Download product vmware images and try it for yourself. VMware imedia linux image

In order to run the Imedia linux you have to install the free
VMware player.
