Hi,
Indeed on install cd we do not load USB HID kernel modules, you will not be able to use them during install, but after that, if you will install those modules and if your wireless kit works as standard USB HID you will have no problems. If still no luck, you have our kernel sources and config files and you can compile your custom modules or tell us exactly what module do you need and we will add it in our next release. I think having a wireless HID working on MediaCenter is a generally good idea and it will be great if you give us a feedback on this.

Apparantly the installation program doesn't support my (wireless) USB keyboard/Mouse set.
Anyone who knows if the distro will support it when installed? I won't accept a wired keyboard/mouse at a media center
Except from this issue this product looks very promissing.
6 month ago I bought a Kworld DVB-T220 card and later when it became available a VIA EN12000.
My plan was to install EpiOS - which unfortunately doesn't support CN700 yet.
Then I tryed Gentoo, same problem. Never managed to get a Unichrome driver installed.
Latest attempt is Fedora - still same problem - but I won't destroy that installation until I'm almost sure iMedia MythTV will solve my problems.
My next concern is the Kworld card? Will it be possible to make this work in iMedia
One easy approach though would be to buy a Hauppauge card :-)
Well I decided to try the distro using an old stylish keyboard. USB-HID as well as other USB libraries are available when selecting "custom install" - so promissing for my USB keyboard requirement.
Still though I can't tell if it is supported due to other problems reported in another thread
