Recompiling MythTV

I am using the full imedia 5.0 and need to recompile Myth with patches specific to the DVB-S card I am using. The drivers for the card are included in the modules package but there are Myth Specific patches I need. How can I recompile Myth on 5.0? Please be somewhat specific as to where I can get the build tools and source used in the imedia distro. I do not want to change from what is provided, just add my patches.

Thanks, I am really enjoying the performance of 5.0 on my boards!

Toonces,

You can't compile on our distro since it doesn't include any compiler or development libraries due to their size.
What you can do is to compile on another system (gentoo, fedora 6, ubuntu edgy) with your patches and prefix set to
/opt/mythtv and then copy the compilled and installed tree to your iMedia Linux.

BTW MythTV specific patches you need ? You can give me a list to include in our releases and I can give you an updated package.
