Hi,
I'm attempting to resolve the same problem (I think). Please view the comments in the other thread for iMedia Linux labeled ..."won't start"
Way down the page is a list of steps you can try to use to fix your problem.
Nicu is fixing these (I think...and hope) and says will produce a .1 version with these fixes next week.

Hi
I'm having problems making X starting.
I have installed iMedialinux MythTV 5.0 on a VIA EPIA EX 10000
I've tried startx -- -configure, startx -- -config /root/xorg.conf.new
[and even xorgcfg] both resulted in a blank screen.
I've connected i to a monitor via DVI
any help is appreciated.
regards
Michael
