Media MythTV Linux version 3.0.1 has been released

The new version features:

  • Base distro is the same with iMedia Linux 3.0.1(see iMedia Linux Page for details)
  • Kernel 2.4.33 with performance patches
  • XWindows XOrg Server updated to 7.1
  • Latest OpenChrome VIA drivers
  • Latest DRM kernel modules
  • Updated LIRC drivers and daemon
  • Updated ivtv drivers to 0.4.3
  • Two versions of mythtv available. One based on latest SVN (0.20) and
    one based on 0.18 for users who prefer old style recording

  • Added bigger fonts for TVOUT display
  • Added a new OSD style
  • Added standard BTTV drivers for non compresion capture cards
  • Improved TVOUT support and screen centering
  • Added a new menu entry on mythtv main menu to directly access the mythtv setup
  • Various performance improvments
  • Added support for Unichorme PRO XvMC (transparent thru XvMCWrapper)
  • Added support for PVR 150/350 Hauppauge cards
