Hello. Let me start by saying I am a linux/mythtv rookie. Having said that, let me lay out the system specs and then explain what my issues are.
Hardware:
Silverstone HTPC case, 220w psu.
Jetway J7F2WE1G2E (fanless Via eden 1.2ghz, cn700 northbridge, VT8237RP Southbridge)
pcmcia daughterboard for compact flash card and wireless card
512mb ddr 667
Hauppauge wintv pv-350
Samsung 250gb spinpoint ata 100 hd
Slim DVDRW/CDRW drive
Logitech wireless mouse and keyboard
The primary use for this unit is going to be DVD playback and recording tv shows to be watched later.
The cable goes into the pvr-350, and then uses s-video out to the tv. The audio output goes to my rca home theater receiver via rca cables.
I was able to get the install to work fine. The unit will boot into mythtv and run perfectly fine on an lcd monitor. What I'm trying to accomplish is to get the display to be only on the tv and so far I cannot find anything that explains how to do this.
What do I need to configure to get the tv to display mythtv?
Also, can anyone point me to a how to for installing wireless card drivers for a netgear wg511 and using WPA? I think prism54.org is where I need to start, just wanted to make sure that was the place to go first.
