i downloaded an image of Media MythTV Linux ISO 3.0.1 based on 0.20 MythTV SVN release for Pentium/C3 II today. installed it on an EPIA 5000 with a PVR-350 card. When the installation is finished, imedia linux boots to a screen to ask what language or keyboard layout i want to use. the keyboard, however, does not work at all. no caps lock, no up-down, nothing. rebooting does not help. i also tried the remote, to see if that was automagically setup, to no avail. what gives?

I reinstalled from the CD again, and this time did not include any pcmcia support. when the systom boots, it goes to a MythTV screen with "watch TV", "view your recordings", etc screen, but i still can't move anything. my usb mouse has a LED that lights up when it's in use. the LED flashes right before the imedia boot screen, but doesn't come on again. The keyboard works in bios, but not after booting.

i think i'm going to try the distro based on .18 MythTV today....

There is a problem with lirc input and mythtv which we hope to be solved in the tomorow release.
