1. Where can I find a list of packages on a CD
It's a little bit outdated (for version 4.0.1) but we will update with the 5.0 release. http://www.imedialinux.com/imedia_linux/customisation

2. Can I add binary packages from some of the "big" distros (e.g. RadHat, Debian, Mandrake, SuSE...) after the instalation?Disk space is not an issue on my system... If not, do you have some clever way for building additional packages (documentation please)?
Yes you can add precompiled binaries as long as the glibc version corresponds and you copy all the libraries that the binary needs and they are not on our system. Easy to check with ldd . On the 5.0 release glibc version is 2.5 so you will need a compatible distribution to compile the binary from.

3. Can I somehow buy "access to ISO image" instead of the CD? Shipping to Austria costs a fortune.
